Dang, there is so much Twitter hype these days. So I’ve decided to a post about an example I put together with some scraped twitter data. Here is the basic concept: I scraped data from localtweeps.com to get all the twitter users in the Birmingham, Alabama area. Then I put each user as a point on a google map that shows their user info when clicked.
How did I do this? I used jQuery, YQL, and google maps in addition to 2 awesomely helpful blog posts!
